The Rugby Ball :.

This painting is very personal to Arlo as it depicts of his endeavours in both art and sport - a paradox he is very proud of. It is perhaps one of his larger paintings and depicts a great range of animation both humorous and sincere. Animated features include a rugby ball, a pitch, a Navaho Indian and an impression of Arlo himself as a spectator. The choice of colours within the painting is closely related to the school which he attended and the richness of middle eastern life.
